Чернобыль-2 клиника

This is the Chernobyl-2 Clinic. It was the health center for residents of Chernobyl-2, a military town about ten kilometers from Pripyat and the Chernobyl Nuclear Power Plant.
Chernobyl-2 was a secret military town in Soviet times. It was hidden in a forest. The town was home for families of military personnel that worked at the Duga radar. This military village had a hospital in the only street the town had. The small hospital housed several outpatient departments and other healthcare related organizations.
The small town had a theater, gym, school, kindergarten, some shops and a hotel. The village had all the necessary infrastructure for a comfortable life.
The entire population of the town was evacuated the day after the Chernobyl disaster. Today there is only a guard on duty, the town and the Duga Radar Station are completely abandoned.
